What is the Model Inspector?

The Model Inspector in Hubql serves as a valuable tool for gaining a comprehensive overview of your model. Housed in a dedicated tab, it allows you to visualize all the tables (referred to as models) in your data model along with their respective attributes (fields). This is particularly beneficial in extensive data models where numerous tables can lead to confusion. The Model Inspector acts as a guiding list, preventing you from getting lost in the complexity.

Navigating through large datasets becomes a breeze with the inclusion of a search bar, enabling you to locate specific elements within your model quickly.

Furthermore, the Model Inspector offers a unique organizational feature. Users can group models, assign distinctive colors, and provide custom names called 'tags.' This tagging system enhances the visual representation of your models, making it easier to categorize and differentiate them. Effectively, the Model Inspector simplifies data exploration and provides a customizable and visually intuitive way to manage and understand your complex data models.
